Robinwood Residential

Class Three had a brilliant time on their residential visit to Robinwood in Alston. The pupils loved taking part in fourteen outward bound activities, ranging from canoeing to trapeze! I was so impressed with the outstanding behaviour and teamwork shown by the class.


Tom Palmer Visit

It was great to welcome best selling author Tom Palmer to school this morning! Tom discussed his path to becoming a multi award winning writer with Class Three. He then read the opening chapters to our new class book ‘After the War’ with the pupils.

London Residential

We had a brilliant time on our trip to London! Class Three loved touring the Houses of Parliament, watching the Lion King, going on the London Eye, visiting the Imperial War Museum and exploring London.


Chris Mould Visit

World renowned illustrator Chris Mould visited school last Friday. He spoke to the pupils about how his love of drawing has shaped his life. Chris also spoke to the pupils about how he illustrated the latest version of the classic story The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.


Music Concert

Our superstar musicians put on a fantastic concert on Wednesday afternoon! Thanks to the members of our school community that came and supported the event.


Active Art

It was great to welcome Claire and Phil from Active Art back into school yesterday. The pupils worked together to produce an amazing piece of art work just from a range of recyclable items!


School Dog

Ivy had a great first day in school today! She was the star of our morning assembly. She really enjoyed meeting all the pupils at break time!


Gymnastic Stars

The Year Two pupils loved taking part in a gymnastics competition at Bassenthwaite Primary School. They all worked really hard learning a tricky routine and enjoyed showing it to the judges!
