Kiln Howe Beck Trip

Class Three had a busy morning yesterday at Kiln Howe Beck. They investigated the amount of nitrate and phosphate in the beck, they also discovered what was living in the water.  

Class 2 River Study

Class 2 had a great morning investigating the river behind school, despite the cold conditions! Thank you to the Blencathra Centre for offering the trip free of charge!

Snow Day

We had a great break time today enjoying the snowy conditions. Well done to Anna and Hannah for making a fantastic snow cat!


We had a great day out yesterday at Langdale School. We all took part in a Box2bfit session with Dave and explored the amazing surroundings of Langdale.

Martin Luther King Assembly

Well done Abby and Rachel for a fantastic assembly all about Martin Luther King. The girls told the school all about Martin Luther King’s amazing civil rights work and how his legacy lives on around the World.

Visions and Values at Threlkeld

In assembly today we started brainstorming ideas about what makes our school unique. We talked about the qualities of a pupil at Threlkeld. We came up with some amazing ideas! A letter will be coming home soon letting you see them and allowing you to suggest your own.
