Remembrance Day Service

All the primary schools in Keswick came together on Friday to commemorate all those affected by conflict. We also spent the week thinking about the significance of the poppy and  learning about the First World War.

Class Two had a great day on Latrigg yesterday. They explored the fell and learnt all about its geographical features. The pupils also conducted a number of experiments on the fell linked to the weather.

Harvest Festival

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Harvest Festival. All the pupils enjoyed performing singing a range of harvest themed songs and reciting Autumn themed poetry. The Class 3 pupils delivered short presentations about people who have helped others.

Class Three loved their visit to Keswick Museum. We found out all about the amazing life of renowned mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington. After looking round the exhibition we were lucky enough to handle a range of equipment actually used on climbing trips!

Rory Stewart MP Visit

Thank you to Rory Stewart MP for visiting Class Two and Three on Friday afternoon. The pupils loved having the opportunity to ask him questions, ranging from why did he want to be a member of Parliament to who did he want to win the World Cup!

Residential to Hawse End

The pupils from Year 4, 5 and 6 had a great time on their residential at Hawse End. The pupils enjoyed taking part in a range of different outdoor activities, ranging from rock climbing to canoeing to ghyll scrambling!
